September 11, 2007
The following screen shots may leave some of you surprised that Nights:Journey of Dreams is a Wii game. Myself included. When I first saw these shots, I thought to myself “No way that’s a Wii game.” But lo and behold, it is and it looks great! This will definately be an interesting title to follow.

PLaystation Phone
September 11, 2007
I bet you haven’t heard of this, have you?
Yes, I know, Playstation seems to still have life, but will anyone buy it’s new Playstation Phone?
An extremely sleek design, its pushing more to gaming, so its’ a little like a PSP with calling capabilities.
By the look of what’s on the screen, that looks alot like the psp format, with the sliding icon change.
Here is the quote from the site I found it on:
“Mobile Entertainment seem to believe that it’ll be February, during the Mobility World
Congress. They also reckon the phone won’t be PSP-branded (but you’d think it’d carry the
PlayStation name somewhere), will be designed with gaming as the #1 priority and will be
motion-sensitive, so expect a LocoRoco game somewhere at launch.”
It said it was motion sensitive, similar to the PS3 SIXAXIS controllers.
So could this all lead to a SIXAXIS PSP?
I guess we’ll see…

Brawl Update: New Assist Trophy
September 11, 2007

A young girl from the Sacae plains, Lyn (whose true name is Lyndis) makes an appearance from the Game Boy Advance game Fire Emblem.
Lyn looks simple, but tough.
She wields what looks like a classical Japanese sword, so she’s similar to Samurai Goroh, but her strokes are more coordinated and flowing than his.
Building power…
Where did she go!?
The flash of a blade!
You will be mercilessly cut down if she hits you directly. If you call her forth as your ally, grab your enemies to make them easier for her to hit. Now that’s teamwork.

Zelda Crossbow game and the Wii Zapper
September 10, 2007
At E3 2007, Nintendo unveiled the Wii Zapper in funtioning form. The case, which safely and comfortably houses both the Wii remote and nunchuk, is designed to be held like a traditional light gun without giving up the infrared nature of the Wii remote. At E3, Nintendo also said they would be creating unique software to come with the Wii Zapper.
Today, the company made official the details. The Wii Zapper will ship bundled with Link’s Crossbow Training on November 19 for only $19.99. It’s not Duck Hunt, but for some the unique effort could be even better and more entertaining. I will let Nintendo’s official description of this new game explain it for you.
“Link’s Crossbow Training drops players into a world in the style of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Players assume the identity of hero Link, who progresses through a series of tests to perfect his crossbow marksmanship. Start with stationary bull’s-eyes and graduate to moving targets before defending Link against all kinds of enemies.”
“The Wii Zapper combines our remarkable controllers into one housing with a classic style reminiscent of arcade-style games,” explained George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “Both veteran and first-time players will find it brings a whole new dimension to games where targeting is key and provides even more exciting game-play experiences.”
Sounds like it will be a great bundle to start the Wii Zapper off. Oh how Nintendo likes launching with Zelda at it’s back.

Brawl Update: New Pokemon!
September 10, 2007

Munchlax is the pre-evolved form of Snorlax.
It walks very slowly
He may be a carefree pokemon, but he is said to be quite the glutton…
An item appeared!
And he ate it….great!
Not sure what exactly he is true purpose is. But he seems to hurt other players by taking away there items. Maybe he evolves into Snorlax if he eats enough? Hmmm…

Brawl Update:My Music and a new song!
September 7, 2007
With the “My Music” feature, you can enjoy the music of the many musicians behind Brawl any way you like. Choose freely from a huge and diverse selection of famous (and not so famous) songs!
This is “My Music” in action!
The battle stages of Super Smash Bros. Brawl feature a diverse line-up of game worlds. For example, there are stages based on the Mario universe.
Basically, there is only one song that plays on each stage. But even among the myriad songs of the Mario universe, people probably have different favorite.
With that in mind, I think it’s a bit of a waste to limit that whole universe to just one song.
So Nintendo has prepared many songs and will let you choose the likelihood that any given song will be played.
This is “My Music” for Delfino Plaza.
For songs you’re particularly fond of, you can increase the likelihood those songs will appear. Then, when you brawl on that stage, the chance of your preferred songs being played increases.
Of course, if you want to, you can limit a stage to only one song, or make every song in the game equally likely to appear
And a new Item has been made know. A CD!
This is a CD.
Regardless of which mode you’re playing, if you see one of these, be absolutely sure to grab it. Because grabbing them adds to your music selection.
Also the pokemon stadium theme has been revealed. Well at least part of it has.

Brawl update: Pokemon Stadium 2 and Mario Specials
September 6, 2007
Ok so this time around we have Pokemon Staduim 2. Super up version of the stage from Melee. Now it starts off with the typical orthadox nothing going on arena.
But it will gradually shift Electricity,Flying, ground, and Ice. On top of that there is a guest pokemon in the background.
Mario Time!
His down special move for Brawl is F.L.U.D.D.
He can spray his enemies with spurt of water and send them flying off the stage!
Don’t worry you classic fighters, he still has his Mario Tornado move. It just isn’t his down special.
