September 11, 2007
The following screen shots may leave some of you surprised that Nights:Journey of Dreams is a Wii game. Myself included. When I first saw these shots, I thought to myself “No way that’s a Wii game.” But lo and behold, it is and it looks great! This will definately be an interesting title to follow.

Zelda Crossbow game and the Wii Zapper
September 10, 2007
At E3 2007, Nintendo unveiled the Wii Zapper in funtioning form. The case, which safely and comfortably houses both the Wii remote and nunchuk, is designed to be held like a traditional light gun without giving up the infrared nature of the Wii remote. At E3, Nintendo also said they would be creating unique software to come with the Wii Zapper.
Today, the company made official the details. The Wii Zapper will ship bundled with Link’s Crossbow Training on November 19 for only $19.99. It’s not Duck Hunt, but for some the unique effort could be even better and more entertaining. I will let Nintendo’s official description of this new game explain it for you.
“Link’s Crossbow Training drops players into a world in the style of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Players assume the identity of hero Link, who progresses through a series of tests to perfect his crossbow marksmanship. Start with stationary bull’s-eyes and graduate to moving targets before defending Link against all kinds of enemies.”
“The Wii Zapper combines our remarkable controllers into one housing with a classic style reminiscent of arcade-style games,” explained George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “Both veteran and first-time players will find it brings a whole new dimension to games where targeting is key and provides even more exciting game-play experiences.”
Sounds like it will be a great bundle to start the Wii Zapper off. Oh how Nintendo likes launching with Zelda at it’s back.

Bond too return!
August 30, 2007
Activison has announced that they are going to be bringing a brand new James Bond game to both DS and the Wii. They haven’t released any details about it so far other then that it will be coming to the previously named systems. But a lot of people are thinking it will be based off a new Bonds movie to be coming out December 2008.
Some information that has been released is that Treyarch, Beenox and Vicarious Visions will be the developers in charge of bringing Bond to Nintendo’s systems. It will be interesting to see how it will turn out. I’m sure we will all miss the days of Rare making Bond…but we must live with what we have.
After purchasing the rights to James Bond from Electronic Arts in 2006 they have done nothing with James Bond until now, hopefully Activision will be able to bring us all another Bond game equal to his Prime time game of Goldeneye for the N64.
We can only hope….
